What is an eSIM?
The traditional SIM card is a physical card that is inserted into the card slot of a device when in use. An eSIM card is an “Embedded-SIM card.” The SIM card technology is already imbedded in the device. Users do not need to insert a physical card, just download new eSIM software and install to the device through a mobile network.
Should you get an eSIM?
SIMS can be stolen and hacked, wearout and can be lost, eSIMs are hard to hack and cant be lost. Infact, they make your device easier to locate when lost.
They take up a small part of device hardware, and can be used together with SIM cards.
Where can I get an eSIM?
If you have and eSIM enabled device you can get an eSIM package through the FREE Urocomm App! eSIM packages are not avaible yer (but you can get the app now for the latest updates.)Just buy the package and set it up on your phone to use it instantly!
Which mobile devices support eSIM?
As of August 2020, Urocomm eSIM supports the following devices:

Pixel 4
Support for eSIMs differs in for devices from different countries and regions, please check with the local device supplier for details. For example: phone XS Max and phone XR do not support eSIM in devices from Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau, China.
It is recommended that you purchase an eSIM data package when using a Wi-Fi network, before you start using mobile data.
Different devices have different requirements for using an eSIM with data roaming. Please check with the manufacturer of your device. If you need to turn on data roaming you can use the following for reference:
Does Urocomm eSIM support voice and SMS?
Sorry, Urocomm eSIM does not support voice calling and SMS, and currently only supports mobile data.
How can I check my data plan usage?
You can check the data usage of the current package through the Urocomm App. There will be a slight time lag in the data.
Can I delete my eSIM?
It is not recommended that you delete the eSIM. If you delete the eSIM, it will also delete the data plan you are using and cannot be restored.
